The Cape Cod Wildlife Collaborative is sponsoring its 7th Annual Cape Cod Wildlife Festival on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at Mass Audubon's Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary, 345 Bone Hill Road in Cummaquid.
The festival showcases local environmental groups - both on land and in the water - all in one place, on one day, and free to the general public. It has evolved from a small event attended by 100 participants in 2010, to a larger affair attended by almost 400 annually. The festival features educational presentations featuring live animals, live music by the Gurus, local natural history authors signing and selling their books courtesy of Books by the Sea, wildlife photographers sharing their photography tips, delicious food vendors, and lots of environmentally themed, interactive activities for families.
This is a FREE event, but donations are greatly appreciated.
Our mission is: "Believing that wildlife has an intrinsic value to our region, the Cape Cod Wildlife Collaborative is a partnership of non-profit organizations committed to protecting wildlife through rescue, rehabilitation, science, advocacy, habitat conservation and education."
